Physiotherapy Resident
Alessia graduated from Queen Margaret University in the United Kingdom, with a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy. Prior to this she completed her Bachelors of Science with Specialized Honors in Kinesiology at York University.
Growing up, Alessia has been involved in a numerous number of sports and has developed a passion for helping individuals optimize their performance and recover effectively. As a former competitive soccer player and coach, Alessia has experienced first hand the mental and physical challenges that come from sustaining and recovering from an injury.
Alessia combines evidence-based techniques with a deep understanding of the unique demands of sports, bringing a comprehensive approach to physiotherapy. Driven by a passion for continuous growth, Alessia is committed to advancing her career by pursuing specialized training in acupuncture and spinal manipulation, ensuring she remains at the forefront of the science behind physiotherapy. Alessia is motivated by a goal to provide each individual she works with, a personalized and effective experience.
Her passion is to develop a client-centered approach with personalized treatment plans, and empowering her clients to actively participate in their rehabilitation journey. Outside of the clinic, you’ll find Alessia at the gym, playing soccer, and cooking or baking for everyone she knows.
